Logistics Director, Malaga

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Logistics Director to lead and optimize our company's logistics, warehouse, inventory and distribution operations.

We are not looking for a purely strategic profile; this role also requires someone operational, detail-oriented, and capable of driving execution on the ground. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution.
  • Develop and execute logistics and supply chain strategies to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and cost optimization.
  • Manage relationships with transport providers, suppliers and external logistics partners.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations, customs requirements, and company policies related to logistics and transportation.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive performance improvements and operational excellence.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team while creating efficient operational processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing, retail, e-commerce, and operations teams to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, system improvements, and process optimization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Director, Senior Logistics Manager, or similar leadership role is mandatory.
  • Extensive experience in logistics, supply chain management, warehousing, and inventory operations.
  • Relevant higher education studies in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related fields are required.
  • Strong background in international logistics, imports/exports, and distribution operations.
  • Experience managing teams and leading operational logistics functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and operational reporting tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
