Through a complete redesign of the layout, thoughtful architecture, and carefully selected materials, the property was transformed into a home full of character, light, and connection—where movement flows naturally between spaces and indoor and outdoor living feel seamlessly connected.

Kitchen & Living Area
The original layout divided key living spaces, limiting both functionality and connection. By rethinking the floor plan and opening the flow between the kitchen, dining area, and living room, the home was transformed into a welcoming social hub designed around family gatherings, natural movement, and everyday Mediterranean living.
Master Bedroom
Designed as an open and interconnected retreat, the master suite combines the bedroom, dressing area, and bathroom into one harmonious experience. Natural materials, warm textures, tactile finishes, and a soft Mediterranean palette create a sense of cohesion throughout, while the freestanding bathtub becomes a defining focal point, inviting moments of relaxation and slow living.
Basement
Previously dark and disconnected, the basement was reimagined as a bright and multifunctional space for wellness and entertainment. Through thoughtful planning and carefully integrated lighting, the space now feels just as welcoming as the main living areas. Warm limestone flooring inspired by traditional Ibizan architecture creates continuity throughout, while a bespoke metal and glass structure subtly separates the gym area, preserving the openness and flow of the space.
DESIGN STORY
Bahía Marbella began with a clear vision: to create a home that felt unique, deeply personal, and truly representative of Mediterranean living, moving away from the generic minimalism often found in contemporary villas. Inspired by the spirit of Ibiza, every design decision was guided by the lifestyle of a growing family who wanted a home designed for gathering, connection, and shared experiences.

At the heart of the project was the belief that the kitchen and dining area should become the social centre of the home, reflecting the family’s traditions and the way they come together around food and shared moments.
The entire layout was reimagined to improve circulation, strengthen the connection between spaces, and optimise every available square metre. Designed to be truly lived in, the house blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, creating a constant dialogue between the interior spaces, terraces, garden, and surrounding landscape.
New bedrooms, a rooftop retreat, and a fully transformed basement dedicated to wellness, entertainment, and leisure were introduced to accommodate both present and future generations. Carefully selected materials, bespoke details, and dedicated project supervision ensured every element was executed to the highest standard, providing peace of mind for homeowners managing the project from abroad.
