One such project is the stunning renovation of Finca Panorama, a country villa located just 20 minutes from Marbella. Once a traditional Andalusian farmhouse, this property has undergone a breathtaking transformation. From its rustic origins to a modern, stylish sanctuary, this project showcases how Zoco Home redefines spaces while preserving their essence.
A Modern Take on a Country Classic
When the owners of the villa approached Zoco Home, Finca Panorama was a classic cortijo with small, compartmentalized rooms and limited natural light. They envisioned a complete transformation while maintaining its rustic charm. Guided by the vision of Lamiaa Abouelada, our team reimagined the space with creativity and precision.
One of the most striking transformations took place in the main bedroom suite, where a single, enclosed room was redesigned into a stunning, open-plan retreat. The new layout integrates the sleeping area seamlessly with a luxurious bathroom—without any physical separation—creating a harmonious flow. Behind this space, we designed a walk-in wardrobe featuring panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, adding both functionality and elegance.
Contemporary Design Meets Traditional Materials
The kitchen is another highlight of the transformation. What was once a dark, closed-off space has been completely reimagined. By removing walls, the area was opened up to create a functional, luminous kitchen crafted entirely with microcement by our experts. This sleek and durable material enhances the modern aesthetic, while natural light floods the room, making it both practical and absolutely stunning.
In the living room, the original fireplace was preserved but given a much-needed facelift, blending rustic warmth with a refined, contemporary look. To enhance the sense of space and light, the former main door was replaced with a large window featuring black accents, providing breathtaking views and a bold, modern touch. The new main entrance, now relocated to the opposite side, retains the original door, ensuring the home’s rustic charm remains intact.
Throughout the villa, key architectural elements like archways were preserved to honor its Andalusian heritage, while the use of wood, stone, and tile complements the natural surroundings. The terraces now seamlessly connect the indoors with the outdoors, offering the perfect spaces for relaxation and entertaining.
