Zoco Home Interior Design Studio has completely transformed La Floja, a gourmet bar in the heart of Costa del Sol. What was once an empty, unremarkable space is now a stunning reinterpretation of a traditional Andalusian tavern. This hospitality project is not just about renovating a space—it’s about reimagining tradition with a contemporary approach.

Before: A Blank Canvas with Untapped Potential

When we first stepped into La Floja, it was nothing more than an empty shell. Despite its prime location, the interior lacked warmth, character, and a cohesive design. With bare walls, an unstructured layout, and a cold atmosphere, the space needed a complete transformation to become the inviting fancy tavern the owners envisioned.

After: A Reinterpretation of an Andalusian Tavern

Zoco Home Interior Design Studio took on the challenge of redefining La Floja, handling the entire project management—from design and material selection to execution and finishing touches. We worked with natural materials and traditional techniques, bringing a contemporary materialization to the space while maintaining its Andalusian soul.

Microcement on the walls and floors creates a seamless, refined look, while terracotta flooring, natural stone details, and glazed terracotta tiles infuse warmth and texture. Custom-forged ironwork adds an artisanal touch, tying the entire concept together.

By embracing an open and fluid layout, we ensured that every element felt intentional and cohesive. The result? A space where there’s a story in everything—a philosophy that defines every Zoco Home project.
