Located in Banus, one of Marbella’s most privileged coastal areas, Ventura del Mar is a residential project that reflects Zoco Home’s distinctive approach to contemporary living: calm, considered, and deeply connected to its surroundings. Designed by Zoco Home Interior Design Studio, this home was conceived to balance clean Scandinavian lines with subtle modern influences, while introducing warmth through natural textures and thoughtful material choices.

From the very beginning, the main goal of the project was clear: to create generous, light-filled spaces that feel open and fluid, yet never cold. Instead, the design embraces a quiet sense of comfort—where simplicity, proportion, and natural elements work together to create a home that feels both refined and welcoming. This balance defines Ventura del Mar and positions it as a timeless coastal retreat in Marbella.

Clean lines softened by natural warmth

Throughout the apartment, Zoco Home focused on maintaining clean architectural lines while introducing warmth through carefully selected details. Natural rattan lighting elements play a key role in softening the spaces, casting warm light and adding texture without overwhelming the minimalist foundation. These elements bring a sense of craftsmanship and organic beauty that contrasts gently with the modern structure of the home.

The palette remains neutral and serene, allowing light to move freely across the interiors. Soft whites, warm beiges, and natural finishes enhance the feeling of spaciousness while creating an atmosphere of calm. Every design decision was made to ensure the home feels generous in scale, yet intimate enough to invite everyday living.

An open living space designed for connection

At the heart of Ventura del Mar lies an open-plan living area where the living room and kitchen connect seamlessly. In the kitchen, marble surfaces are paired with natural wood elements to create a refined yet warm contrast. Our Selene bar stools introduce sculptural simplicity and comfort, while the Kayu lampshade adds an organic touch that softens the space and enhances the overall atmosphere.

In the living area, lighting once again plays a central role. The Mallorca ceiling lamp, used in both sizes, creates visual rhythm and continuity throughout the space. Complementing this, the Round teak coffee table grounds the seating area with its natural texture, while the Sandglass stool adds a subtle sculptural accent, reinforcing the balance between functionality and design.

The open layout enhances natural light and allows the interior to flow naturally toward the terrace, reinforcing a sense of continuity. This area embodies the philosophy of Zoco Home: functional, elegant, and designed to be lived in.

A main bedroom defined by design

One of the most distinctive spaces in the home is the main bedroom. Here, Zoco Home Interior Design Studio introduced a custom-made shelving unit that becomes the true focal point of the room. Designed with intentional asymmetry, this bespoke element adds character and uniqueness while maintaining visual balance.

The room is further elevated through textiles from our new Etera collection, which play a key role in creating warmth, softness, and a layered sense of comfort. To strengthen the connection between architectural elements and decorative details, the Mallorca ceiling lamp in black was chosen, adding contrast and depth to the space. This is beautifully paired with the natural warmth of the Paros bedside table, whose timeless design brings harmony and balance to the room.

Together, these elements transform the bedroom into a refined yet personal retreat—calm, intentional, and deeply inviting.

Outdoor living with sea views in Marbella

The terrace at Ventura del Mar is an essential extension of the interior. With open views toward the sea and surrounded by lush vegetation, this outdoor space was designed as a place to slow down and reconnect with nature. It invites quiet mornings with a coffee, afternoons immersed in greenery, and evenings accompanied by the soft Mediterranean breeze.

In true Zoco Home style, the outdoor area is not merely decorative—it is designed to be lived in. The seamless connection between interior and exterior reinforces the relaxed coastal lifestyle that defines Marbella living.
