Zoco Home x Interihotel: Bringing Our Concept to Hospitality
At Zoco Home, we had the honor of showcasing our unique ethnic-Scandinavian style at Interihotel 2024, Spain’s largest interior design fair for hospitality and professionals. The idea was clear: to craft a space that felt welcoming and intimate while reflecting Zoco Home’s distinct design language.
A Design Rooted in Simplicity and Elegance
For this project, we wanted to focus on an architectural element that truly represents us: the arch. By choosing this form, we aimed to create a space that felt cohesive and inviting. We incorporated a central round arch on the back wall and semi-arches on the sides, framing the stand while keeping it open and welcoming for visitors.
This design choice reflected our commitment to creating spaces that inspire and invite connection. The arches were not just a design feature; they were a symbol of the open and inclusive atmosphere we strive to bring to every project.
Bringing the Outdoors to Life
When planning our stand concept, we knew we wanted to highlight our Bora outdoor furniture collection. Unlike typical outdoor designs, our pieces combine elegance and functionality, making them versatile for terraces, rooftops, or even beachfront settings. Our goal was to transport visitors to dreamy locations—be it Morocco, Greece, or Ibiza—through the atmosphere we created.
To enhance this feeling, we used chestnut wood beams and coconut fiber mesh to craft a natural and airy roof for the stand. This choice not only reinforced the outdoor theme but also showcased our dedication to sustainability and incorporating nature into design.
A Functional and Inspiring Layout
Our 32m² stand at Interihotel featured distinct zones designed with intention by our Zoco Home Interior Design Studio. A lounge area provided a comfortable space for relaxed conversations, while a dining area served as both a display and a versatile meeting point where we could showcase our products, materials, and designs.
This layout allowed us to create a space that wasn’t just beautiful but also practical—a hallmark of our design philosophy. Every detail, from the choice of furniture to the textures and materials, came together to tell the story of Zoco Home.
A True Representation of Who We Are
Interihotel is the premier design event for hospitality, and we couldn’t be prouder of the space we created for this occasion. By combining carefully selected elements, natural materials, and timeless design, we demonstrated how Zoco Home brings life and personality to any space.
For us, this wasn’t just about showcasing our collection—it was about sharing a part of who we are. Interihotel 2024 at Madrid allowed us to connect with industry professionals, present our designs, and inspire others to see the potential of outdoor living spaces. This stand was a true reflection of our passion for design, hospitality, and creating spaces that feel like home.
