The Benalmadena Home Renovation: Latest Update
As the weeks go by, we continue to create beautiful interiors and fulfil our clients wishes along the Costa Del Sol. As we promised, we would keep you up to date and share one of our favourite home renovation projects with you.
Why Are We Sharing This Project With You?
Undertaking a home renovation project, whether big or small, can be quite overwhelming. There are many steps to take into consideration, therefore we would like to share this journey with you and to understand how we work as an interior design company.
The Goal
Our clients envision a cozy home for their young family, offering charm and embracing the Scandinavian style that they admire so much.
What Has Been Done So Far?
Our clients found this home and saw the potential that could be reached. They contacted us to create their dream home using our interior design services. So far, this 3 bedroom property has been completely demolished and almost every room in this house was taken apart in order to create a modern home for our clients.

The Latest Update On The Benalmadena Villa
Exciting things are happening and are moving forward very quickly at the Benalmadena Villa! Once all the demolition took place and all the walls were taken out, we were able to start creating what our clients had envisioned for their new home.
Open Living Space
By demolishing the majority of the walls, we automatically create a Scandinavian open style living space. The kitchen, living room and dining space will be located in one open area, allowing the Spanish warmth and sun to radiate through the home, offering a brighter and spacious feeling.
To continue the Scandinavian style of living throughout the home, our interior designers have chosen to create built-in shelves along one of the walls in the living room where the TV will be placed using microcement, finishing the look with elegance.
Furthermore, the modern windows have now been installed, making the property look more like a home everyday.
Flooring & Walls
For the flooring, our designers have used soft grey tiles to create a calming and modern tone, providing the space with a clean Scandinavian style.
The main material used for the walls is microcement to offer the space a beautiful finish.
What is Microcement?
Microcement is becoming increasingly popular within the design world. The best thing about using microcement in renovation projects is that it is suitable for floors and walls in both interior and exterior such as bathrooms, kitchens, stairs and terraces.
Microcemet is a material that we have used in many interiors for our clients and have always achieved excellent results.
Kitchen Area
After the walls, floor and windows were in place, it was time for us to install their brand new modern kitchen.
Our clients opted for an elegant kitchen finished with beautiful countertops and wooden cupboard spaces. This has created a fantastic modern style which will provide the space with a timeless look.
The kitchen area enables an open design with a beautiful island and plenty of room for entertaining their family and friends.
“We LOVE how our cozy home is looking so far! Things are moving quickly now. Everyday, this place is looking more and more like our dream home. We can’t wait to move in!” Our clients and proud homeowners of Benalmadena Villa.
Interior Design Studio
All materials that we have used in this project will be available to view in our new interior design studio which we are looking forward to welcoming you to very shortly!
