A warm, island-inspired family retreat by the Mediterranean

Located just moments from the sea in Marbella, Casa Felicia was reimagined to soften the architecture and bring warmth, character and a stronger sense of Mediterranean living to the property.

The Interior Design Project involved a complete renovation encompassing the home’s technical systems, interior design and decoration. Guided by a desire to maximise natural light, the design creates a warm, welcoming and effortless family home.

Drawing inspiration from the relaxed interiors of Ibiza and Bali, natural and tactile materials define the spaces. Microcement surfaces are combined with oak doors, rattan joinery and timeless travertine countertops to create a soft, organic material palette.

The outdoor areas introduce a subtle Moroccan influence through handmade zellige tiles and oversized Moroccan pots, evoking the colours and textures of Marrakech. Bespoke built-in bench seating makes the most of the available space, while a new planting scheme and landscaping bring greater greenery, intimacy and warmth to the terraces. A renovated rooftop jacuzzi and a peaceful reading corner complete the transformation, turning Casa Felicia into a relaxed, characterful retreat designed for slow Mediterranean living.
