What if a terrace felt like a beach club? Zoco Home Interior Design Studio set out to answer this question with Café Soleil, a summer club café located in Puerto Marina, Benalmádena. Designed to feel open, effortless, and full of life, the space brings together the relaxed atmosphere of a beach club with the natural rhythm of a terrace on the Costa del Sol.

From the very beginning, the intention was to create a place that feels easy to move through, where every corner invites you to stay a little longer. Rooted in the essence of mediterranean living, Café Soleil unfolds as an open environment where light, texture, and flow define the experience. It’s a space where mornings start slow, afternoons stretch naturally, and evenings arrive without urgency — a true reflection of life on the Costa del Sol.
The layout is designed to feel fluid and intuitive. Spaces transition seamlessly from one to another, guiding guests from the bar to the dining area and into more relaxed lounge corners. In the lounging area, pieces like the Lagos sofa, the Amaya three seater sofa, and the Bora two seater sofa create generous, comfortable settings where family and friends can gather naturally. Paired with the Bora coffee table and the Amaya coffee table, these compositions feel grounded yet relaxed, encouraging conversation, rest, and shared moments.

Facing outward, a more elevated perspective unfolds. Guests can sit back and enjoy the views from the Organic bar stool paired with the Bali bar table — a quiet spot to pause, take in the surroundings, and feel connected to the landscape. At the heart of the covered area, a large dining table anchors the space: the Munduk outdoor dining table combined with the Selene dining chair, some of Zoco Home’s best sellers, designed to host long lunches and effortless gatherings under the shade.

Materiality plays a central role in shaping the atmosphere. Warm wood finishes, soft sand-toned fabrics, and tactile surfaces create a calm, inviting backdrop that feels both natural and refined. Olive trees bring a grounded, unmistakably Mediterranean identity, while subtle Palm Beach influences introduce a lighter, sun-washed contrast — adding freshness without disrupting the harmony.
It’s in the details where the space truly comes to life. The Sage lantern, in both natural and black, adds warmth as the light shifts throughout the day, while the Tulum lanterns placed on the tables create an intimate glow in the evening. Textiles like the Lagos outdoor cushion in Pasir stripe introduce that unmistakable mediterranean living feeling — relaxed, sun-faded, and effortlessly stylish.

More than a terrace, Café Soleil is designed as a place to experience time differently. It’s about the feeling of the sun on your skin, the sound of conversation flowing, and the ease of not needing to be anywhere else. Every element has been considered to support that atmosphere, staying true to the philosophy of Zoco Home Interior Design Studio: creating spaces that feel natural, lived-in, and deeply connected to their surroundings.
In the end, Café Soleil captures the essence of mediterranean living on the Costa del Sol — a balance of simplicity, warmth, and quiet beauty. A space designed not just to be seen, but to be felt. And above all, a place made to gather, unwind, and stay just a little longer.
